The itinerary that the Circolo Ippico dell'Uccellina offers to groups of friends who want to get to know Tuscany extends from Collecchio to Talamone, to discover the splendid Maremma Park, an area of low vegetation from which you can also enjoy the wonderful view of the rocky coast of the Park overlooking theTyrrhenian Seaand the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
Part of the route takes place on the crest of the hill, from which it will be exciting to discover the openings towards the sea that we will encounter, and then immerse ourselves completely in the characteristic colors and scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
The downhill path will finally lead to the small beach that extends at the foot of the hill dominated by the Torre delle Cannelle, a sixteenth-century tower that was part of the Talamone Presidium.
Surrounded by the wonderful views of the coast and the Maremma hinterland, the path we will follow will escort us to the area of dense vegetation and many caves, which became famous in the past for having favored the hiding of dangerous and legendary bandits.
Together with the guide you will finally take another route along the ridge, a suggestive, ancient customs road, surrounded by holm oak vegetation.
The path then once again takes on a path of low, bushy vegetation which offers panoramic views of the Maremma hinterland. In the middle of lush woods and near Poggio Raso we will begin a path that in a short time allows us to reach a view of the sea and from there to the Grotta dello Stoppa, a natural ravine that takes its name from a bandit born and lived in Talamone .
