We will pick you up at your accommodation, hotel or tourist apartment throughout the province to begin this exciting 4-hour guided excursion. You will board our 4x4 with capacity for 6 people (without the guide), with a glass roof that opens and with winter wheels (this allows us to do routes throughout the year). br />
Firstly, we will head to the Lobos River Canyon, which has been declared a Natural Park since 1985. When we arrive, we will walk along the bottom of the canyon among flora such as junipers and junipers, as well as lichens and water lilies. The canyon also has more than 100 pairs of griffon vultures, which will give us the unique opportunity to observe this species. Afterwards, we will arrive at the hermitage of San Bartolomé, the jewel of the place, very visited since it houses the Virgin of Health inside.
After this first part of the excursion, we will continue through the municipality of Ucero and its well-known castle until we reach El Burgo de Osma. Declared a Villa of Tourist Interest and a Historic-Artistic Complex, Burgo de Osma has a beautiful 12th century cathedral.
During the visit, we will tour the streets of the municipality, in addition to the Hospital de San Agustín, the Plaza Mayor with the town hall or the University of Santa Catalina , among other areas of interest. When I finish this visit, you will have acquired a multitude of knowledge about Soria and everything it hides, you will want to continue exploring!
