Throughout this course, which lasts about 8 hours in total, we will teach you several techniques that will be useful in your ascensions on all types of routes.
Imagine that, for whatever reason, we have to abandon the route early, or that the second climber is in trouble and we must help him progress, if he wants to abandon the route. We are going to teach you how to react to these and other assumptions.
We will learn to use the fortune material, a technical equipment that is useful for various actions, both in cases of accidents and to help us in progression.
In the course we will work with this material so that you learn to make infallible belays without needing many elements, to make safe descents, to adequately protect the leader of the team against a hypothetical fall factor 2.

The assumptions that we will work on in this self-rescue course are the following:
- How to help the second in the team ascend when he cannot advance on his own.
- How to rescue the second if he suffers an accident and cannot get on, and how to do it if he does not respond.
- How to descend with a second team member with minor injuries.
- The rappelling technique with knots.
- Ascension using a fixed rope.
To sign up for this course you must have experience in climbing. This course is the perfect complement for you to delve into safety topics and learn how to perform rescues at height.
The completion of the course will be subject to achieving a minimum group.
