Sport Climbing Baptism 4 hours

We offer a half-day climbing baptism where you can take your first contact with this sport, learning the techniques and basic notions of safety, enjoying the outdoor activity.

Take your first contact with sport climbing with this baptism where, over half a day, our objective will be to:

• Learn the basic techniques to start ascending a rock wall on your own. You will realize how the position of your legs and hands influence how to climb correctly while being able to support the weight of your entire body.

• Know what the main safety measures are to correctly use the harnesses and restraints used during practice, thus avoiding putting yourself in danger every time you decide to climboutdoors. li>

If you have never had it completely clear, we guarantee that if you come to try it you will be hooked.

Participate in an introduction to classic climbing in the rock climbing modality, where we will learn and practice the progression and safety techniques that will allow us to travel on unequipped rock climbing routes, as long as they are of low difficulty.

Some of the contents that we will address in the course will be:

• Meetings: importance of securing them correctly and knowing how they work and what they are for.
• Rappelling: we will know the keys to this essential technique to get off the hook after climbing.
• The progression in a group of 2 and 3 climbers.
• Progress freely and safely along unequipped itineraries.
• Know the anchors and their operation.
• Anchor placement. (Claus, fisurers, friends, etc)
• Abandonment of itineraries.
