Just one hour from Barcelona, we find the colossal Montserrat massif, which is considered by many to be the perfect place for climbing. Guarded by the emblematic monastery with which it shares its name, this rock formation represents a kind of pilgrimage for any type of adventurer.

With us, you will begin this initiation climbing course, where no prior knowledge is necessary to enjoy the adventure and where you will learn all the safety techniques and the materials that you will need to put this daring sport into practice. We have a team of mountain technicians who will accompany you during the approximate 3 hours of the baptism of climbing. They will be the ones who provide you with all the material, both technical and safety, to get into this activity.

As we are getting into climbing, we will focus on top-rope climbing and second-rope climbing. . These two techniques are essential when starting out in climbing. You will use the top-rope continuously and you will need second-class climbing so that in the future you will be able to start climbing first. This last method will allow you to feel the adrenaline and enjoy climbing and nature with complete confidence. When you second climb, you climb after the first climber (who is usually more experienced), and your rope exits your harness upwards. With this we achieve security when climbing, since, even if you fall, you are sure that your fall will be just a few centimeters. On the other hand, it is important to say that this adventure can not only be enjoyed by beginners who are just starting out in climbing, but also by those amateur climbers or those who already have some experience. This is because it is very effective to practice these skills when you want to try routes that are above your level and first you want to practice them in an environment where you feel more comfortable.

For this adventure you will only need an adventurous spirit, a mountain backpack, a minimum of 1 liter of water and some light food to satisfy hunger, such as fruits or energy bars, for example. We will provide younot only the knowledge to start but also all the equipment, although if you already have experience and want to practice routes that are above your level and you already have your own equipment, you can use it without problem.
