Come and discover the Balme Cave and its treasures now! This cave is located in Haute-Savoie, in theAuvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the ideal place for a caving outing!
In a magical atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to discover the galleries, rooms and underground rivers.
We will meet youroute de Flaine, at the car park, where our guide will equip you and give you safety instructions about the technical equipment. Once our guide has given you your equipment, you will take the road for a 5-minute, slightly steep approach walk. After that, you will arrive directly at the entrance to the cave where you will first go throughlarge galleries.
Secondly, the route will turn out to be a little more technical: crossing rooms, low passages and small climbs.
You may have to walk through water in order to cross somewater passages. During this progression in the cave, you will have the opportunity to admire many treasures such as stalactites.
After a few hours of discovery, you will exit through an opening directly onto the cliff. You will reach the bottom of the wall by rope passages and by rappelling descents, before returning to the meeting point.
Good to know:
- This activity is accessible to people aged 12 and over.
- We ask you to bring a pair of sneakers that can get wet as well as warm clothes.
