We offer a caving activity accessible to all because the level is estimated at discovery level.
For 3 hours, you will discover an exceptional cave: the Sabarac cave. It is located 1 hour from Carcassonneand 20 minutes from Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet. It is located more precisely in Axat, in the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude.
For this half-day of caving, the meeting point is at the Axat Tourist Office. You will be taken care of by our guide who will start by explaining the activity to you and equipping you. You will then take a short 10-minute approach walk to reach the entrance to the cave.
You will then leave for 2 hours of underground exploration during which you will cross narrow spaces, galleries, rooms... You will have to crawl given that the cavity of this cave is horizontal. The activity will end with a return walk and a debriefing during which you will share your impressions with us.
Note:
- You must be at least 6 years old for this activity.
- You will never have more than 10 participants per outing.
- It is essential to come with clothing that covers the entire body, with sneakers, water and a snack. We strongly advise you to bring a change of clothing and shoes.
- The maximum weight is 115 kilos.
- Your guide will take photos of the activity for you to collect at no extra cost.
