Are you a fan of cavingand would you like to do it in the Ariège department? We offer you a half day of cavingin theSakanie chasm.
This activity is intended for people aged 10 and over because the level of this chasm is quite sporty. The chasmis located at the outlet of the Vicdessos Valley, above Tarascon-sur-Ariège. It has 12 entries and is full of wonders for the eyes, which you will discover for yourself!
For this half-day of caving, we are waiting for you in Tarascon-sur-Ariège, in Sabartmore precisely, but don't panic, the exact meeting place will tell you will be communicated in advance. Once you arrive on site, you will be welcomed by your guide who will explain the activity and equip you with all the necessary equipment.
You will then walk 15 minutes to arrive at the edge of the chasm. In order to enter the chasm, you will rappel down 3 wells, each of a different height. You will then arrive in an incredible underground world: rooms, concrete galleries..
At the end of the half-day, you will go up the chasm using ladders. Yes, you will have gone 80 meters underground! You will then take a 15-minute return walk and share your feelings with your guide!
Note:
- Please wear a long-sleeved sweatshirt, pants and sneakers for this activity. You can take all of this in doubles to change at the end of the activity.
- You can bring water and a snack to recharge the batteries.
- The maximum weight for this activity is 115 kilos and you must not have any medical contraindications.
- Your guide will immortalize this moment and you can retrieve the photos for free afterwards!
