This cave is located near Carcassonneand is full of natural treasures: bats, fossils ... It is located in the heart of Minervois, a region located between Héraultand Aude. This cavewill offer you a half-day full of discoveryand will allow you to discover cavingin a fun way because it >does not present any particular difficulty and is assessed at beginner level.
The meeting point is at the Grotte du Limousis in the Carcassonnais. After an initial contact, our instructor will give you your equipment and explain how this half-day will take place. Following this, you will leave for a short approach walk of 15 minutes before arriving at the cazals cave.
You will then begin 2 hours of underground exploration. You will discover four-legged passages, labyrinths, concrete rooms, bats... After 2 hours of discovery and fun, you will take the return route and debrief with your guide on this extraordinary activity.
Good to know:
- This activity is accessible from 6 years old.
- The maximum number of people per group is 10 people.
- Consider wearing long-sleeved clothing and sneakers on the day of the activity. We advise you to take a change of clothes with you.
