Are you looking for an original adventure and entertaining to experience an unforgettable moment? We invite you to discover caving through a sports course in the Marie Jeanne Cave.
In the company of your state qualified guide, you will venture into this cave and set off to discover what we call the 6th continent strong>. The underground still has many secrets in store for us that will amaze you.
You will enter the underground through a porch at the top of the massif and you will emerge from the cave in the bottom of the gorges.
The crossing of this cavity is very complete, you will be able to discover all the basics of caving:
The lucky ones will perhaps have the opportunity to admire the fauna which evolves in the earth depths. Observe carefully if you want to contemplate the inhabitants of this cave such as the bats, the beetles, the caddis , etc.
This adventure which is both sporty, playful and fun will please the most courageous and explorers. You will all be able to enjoy the photos of your activity captured by your monitor during your underground hike. We will provide you with a link to collect them at the end of your activity. You will be able to remember this incredible outing into the depths and share this unique moment with your loved ones.
Your comfort and your safety are at the heart of our priorities, for this reason, we take care of lending you all the essential equipment for your caving outing strong>. Our equipment meets safety standards and we review it regularly. In order toTo progress in the best conditions, we ask you to wear pants and a long-sleeved sweatshirt. Take a pair of closed shoes like sneakers or hiking shoes. People with glasses take a cord and if you have long horses, take something to tie them up. We also recommend that you take 1 liter of water and a small snack. You'll also be glad to have a change of clothes at the end of your cavity adventure.
We are waiting for parking 2 at Belvédère, at the entrance to the Gorges de Galamus, near our base located in Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet in the Pyrénées-Orientales45 minutes from Perpignan. You will leave the car park for 10 minutes of approach steps before reaching the entrance to the Marie Jeanne cave.
We would like to remind you that you must be at least 10 years old to participate in this experience, you must also not exceed 115 kg.
