Are you looking forward to an exciting experience? Then read this activity carefully, because we offer you fun and adventure in a special setting: the Almofrei River. Come with your friends or family and enjoy canyoning: a sport that combines techniques of hiking, climbing, rappelling... And it consists of crossing the course of the river to obtain a unique energy and beautiful views. In the 3 hours that the exercise lasts you will not stop hallucinating.
As it is a level 1, it is the perfect route for those who want to get in touch with the sport and have no previous experience. The Almofrei-Cotobade area through which we will progress, presents jumps, descents, some natural slides and very simple rappels, so the physical demand is minimal.
Of course, the environment, full of lush vegetation and areas with pools of water, is still just as spectacular. Practicing sports in this space with good people will be the best part of your day. Remember that the group is also small (no more than 20 people), since we want everyone to be comfortable and for new canyoners to feel safe.
Bring some mountain boots with a quality sole, a thermal shirt and spare clothing, we'll give you the rest. The titled monitor will tell you how to use it. We are waiting for you!
*This activity is for people with a minimum age of 9 years old and a height of at least 1'40 meters.
