Descent of the Cerves ravine medium level 3h

One of the ravines that Orense can offer you is the Cerves River. It is located in the town of Melón, between La Cañiza and Ribadavia.

The Cerves ravine is medium level, with little technical requirement, which makes it a good option even for inexperienced adventurers. Its optimal flow occurs in late spring and during summer. It is a granite ravine.

We will descend some walls by rappelling. Don't worry, since the guide tells you how to perform the technique and we are the ones who provide the necessary material. The longest rappel we will overcome is 22 meters.

We will also pass through a multitude of pools suitable for jumping. The guide will tell you where you can do the jumps from without any danger. You will also see that its waters are transparent, since there are no large populations in the river basin.

The approach time is usually about 15 minutes. Then we will make the descent, which takes between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the group, and finally we will return in about 10 minutes maximum.

The requirements to be able to do the activity are to be in good physical condition, know how to swim and not have vertigo. You must bring shoes with good soles, boots or sports shoes.
