Do you want to learn canyoning? In this initiation ravine in the Pedras River, you will be able to see that practicing this sport is easier than you think, you just have to dare to descend without fear!
The Pedras River flows into the Arousa estuary, with incredible landscapes that you can see from the highest point of Mount A Curota. The ravine has abundant vegetation, with waterfall descents of up to 20 meters (which is not mandatory), and a final slide that you can go down as many times as you want.
The meeting place will be the town of Pobra do Caramiñal, 50 kilometers from Pontevedra, and 60 km from Santiago de Compostela. With a professional monitor, you will go on a tour that will last 4 hours approximately, depending on the pace of your group.
Groups must be 10 people maximum, since otherwise it would take a long time to complete each descent. The technical and physical level is low, aimed at all beginners who do not have knowledge of canyoning or rappelling.
We will provide you with all the necessary equipment: helmet, harness, ropes, one or two-piece neoprene, and neoprene socks. Don't forget to wear sports, trekking or canyoning shoes to protect you from the cold, chafing or slipping.
