A night for two in a wooden room with a transparent roof, set among the trees of a farmhouse with an equestrian center in Reggello, in the upper Valdarno. From the bed you will have the sky above you and during the day the Valdarno crags as a backdrop to the estate.
The room is made for sleeping and inside it only has a double bed under the polycarbonate roof. There are no electrical outlets or running water. The bathroom is private and located in the farmhouse less than 100 meters away, with toilet and shower. Pack a charged power bank and a torch in your bag to reach it at night, along with a sweatshirt for the cooler hours, because the room is not heated.
During the day you can use the panoramic swimming pool, shared with other guests. Horse or pony rides and lessons can be booked separately along with a visit to the farm, and there are also the adventure park, mountain biking, yoga and cooking courses. The farmhouse restaurant opens for lunch and dinner and cooks products from the estate, while wine tastings are organized in the cellar. For a special evening you can book a romantic dinner in the tree house, overlooking the cliffs at sunset.
The crags are the pillars of erosion, from gray to ocher, which according to tradition Leonardo painted behind the Mona Lisa. The marked hiking trails start directly from the estate.
A car is needed, because public transport does not reach the estate. The last 2 kilometers are on a dirt road and it is best to take them slowly, especially if you arrive in the dark.
