This 4x4 route will begin in the Asturian town of Cangas de Onís and from here we will head towards Següenco, a small town with a viewpoint that will be a window towards the spectacular mountains of Sueve and Cuera, from here and if it is a sunny day we can see the Sea Cantabrian in the distance, the Basilica of Covadonga and the Priena Peak.
After taking the relevant photographs of the views that we have just described, we will arrive near the Covadonga River and we will begin the trip in the direction of the Basilica, along this amazing journey we will see how The fauna coexists peacefully with the inhabitants of the area and passers-by.
We will travel the roads with our 4x4s, roads that hide great stories like those of the Arabs after the well-known Battle of Covadonga, to go up to the Lakes of Covadonga and thus reach our next stop: Lake Ercina, from here we will walk a little to see a landscape that we cannot miss: the Lake Enol. We will see the Picos de Europa National Park, with Mount Palomberu in the distance.
The Buferrera mine will also be a mandatory stop on our journey and on the way back we will have the spectacular views that the Mirador del Príncipe will provide us with. And with sadness, but amazed with everything we have seen during this excursion, we will stop in the town of Covadonga to see theSantina and the Basilica.
It is a complete experience by nature and history that will remain in your memory forever!
