The athlete Kilian Jornet, whom we had the opportunity to interview just over a year ago, is currently competing in the World Ski Mountaineering Championships in Pelvoux, in the French Alps.

The Catalan athlete has secured the bronze medal in this event. The gold went to William Bon Mardion and the silver to Mathéo Jacquemond, both of French nationality. Even so, the differences at the finish line were practically negligible, so the athlete is very pleased with the results.

Kilian Jornet

According to his own statements, Mireia Miró seem to have had some equipment problems. However, today’s Vertical Race went much better than the previous event: Kilian Jornet took the gold. Behind him were the Swiss athlete Anthamatten and the Italian Damiano Lenzi, with silver and bronze respectively.

 Mireia Miró

In the women’s category, Barcelona’s Mireia Miró was unable to surpass her rival Laetitia Roux, who claimed first place. This time, Mireia had to settle for the silver medal, finishing ahead of Sweden’s Emelie Forsberg.
