The Roman Bridge was a connection point between the important towns of Cádiz and the capital of the empire, Rome. Therefore, it was of utmost importance in ancient times and widely used by travelers. Close to this point is the Calahorra tower, which was a strategic defense point and belongs to the Arab period.

The Mosque tower is one of the city's treasures, since in itself it brings together Arab and Christian artistic elements, it represented a symbol for the city in its different stages and continues to be one of the emblematic places of Córdoba.
