Iago García, actor of The Secret of the Old Bridge

Yumping: Have you ever tried an extreme sport?
Iago García:
No, not really, but I’m open to it—it’s always been intriguing.

Y: Which adventure sport would you like to try?
I.G.:
I’m interested in many, but skydiving is top of my list.

Y: Which one would you never dare to try?
I.G.:
Oddly enough, bungee jumping—even though it’s also a "height sport".

Y: Do you have any hobbies in your free time?
I.G.:
Yes, when I have time, I unwind by doing things I love, like everyone else, I suppose.

Y: How do you usually get your adrenaline rush?
I.G.:
I stick to more conventional sports. I do regular workouts at home: push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups to stay toned. And whenever possible, I play basketball, tennis, etc.

Y: Do you think people should try more adventure sports?
I.G.:
Absolutely. It’s a great way to disconnect and stay fit. People should just do more sports in general.

Y: What’s the most exciting thing you’ve ever done?
I.G.:
Making love (laughs). Believe it or not, acting is one of the most thrilling things I do daily... and then there are other stories that can’t be told (laughs).

Y: Land, sea, or air sports?
I.G.:
Being Galician, if I had to choose... I’d pick the sea.

Y: Would you do extreme sports with friends or your partner?
I.G.:
Whenever possible, with both.

Y: Which extreme sport would you use to surprise someone?
I.G.:
Careful with that—once I tried to surprise my dad with a ride on a "Dragon Khan"-style rollercoaster, and he still brings it up... with resentment (laughs). And obviously, that wasn’t an extreme sport. It’s a very personal gift—choose wisely, or the surprise might backfire...
