Cingles, a company of mountain guides and environmental educators, is an organisation founded in 1993 by professionals in education, leisure activities and adventure sports where the mountains serve as the primary setting.
Their main objective is to provide services and activities for school groups, organisations, associations and individuals with the aim of showcasing the natural, cultural and historical environment of our country while carrying out conservation and maintenance work in natural spaces through fun, educational outdoor activities.

They are based in Castellar de n'Hug (Alt Berguedà), in the heart of Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park (Eastern Pyrenees), at 1,450 metres above sea level, where they can develop their activity programmes in a privileged natural environment.
Often children become too accustomed to urban life, where buildings barely let sunlight through and the air isn't particularly clean due to pollution from traffic, industry, etc. This is where outdoor activities take centre stage, and Cingles provides the opportunity to experience them.
Castellar de n'Hug stands out not only for its natural surroundings but also for its history (its origins date back to 867 AD), its people (former smugglers and shepherds), and its organisation as a high-mountain medieval village... All this, combined with their services and tourist resources, makes it the ideal complement to the natural setting of the activities we offer.

Their location is also renowned for being the point where underground waters from Pla d'Anyella emerge, giving rise to the source of the Llobregat River. The facilities from which they operate are La Closa hostel and Orriols residential centre, where you'll enjoy quality care and services covering all the needs of pupils and teachers.
Cingles consists of education and mountain sports professionals with recognised experience and training, which combined with agile, dynamic infrastructure ensures the quality of their services.
They plan each stay according to the group leaders' objectives and participants' profiles. They understand their role with participants – to provide support and motivation while staying in the background so schoolchildren remain the true protagonists of the activity.

Thus, they seek collaboration with group leaders to understand their motivations, profile and objectives, ensuring the booked activities meet the goals of the stay. They organise all types of school trips: primary school programmes, adventure sports green weeks, synthesis projects, snow white weeks and skiing, day activities and guided excursions.
If you're looking for a school trip destination where pupils will have fun while learning, don't hesitate to contact Cingles.
