ROUTES TO ENJOY SNOWSHOEING IN THE PYRENEES OF LLEIDA

1. Routes in the Tavascan Valley

We head to the northwestern edge of the Pyrenees of Lleida. Here, we find the High Pyrenees Natural Park (the largest in Catalonia), nestled among high peaks, forests, and lakes. One of its most famous routes starts from the Tavascan mountain station, leading to the summit of Coma del Forn at 2,685 metres—quite a challenge! Others climb to, for example, the Estany del Diable (Devil’s Lake). However, Pla de Boavi or Estany de Certascan are also highly recommended options.
