For years we have traveled the Roncal valley in all possible ways and one of the most special is cross-country skiing.

Thanks to the equipment (skis, boots, poles) that we rent you in Roncalia you will be able to enjoy a great day on skis. We have several spaces at different levels: El Ferial, as well as Bortuzko or Eskilzarra...an area where there are very simple slopes and others a little more difficult with bumps and unevenness. The highest area in which we operate is La Contienda in which the tours will be aimed more at those who have a medium or higher level. And when the snow level is at a lower level (1,000m), we have the slopes of La Mata de Haya.

The tours are done with skis and poles along the slopes prepared for it, for which you pay an entrance fee. We also offer classes so that you can train and discover how professional this sport can be. These lessons will be taught in small groups appropriate to each student.

Have you ever thought how incredible it would be to travel through the snow and take a walk that takes you to admire landscapes where white covers everything? At Roncalia we encourage you to put on some snowshoes and dare to explore the itineraries that we have created through the most beautiful environment of Navarra.

We are in the Roncal Valley and the snowshoe activity takes place on the Fair track. They are routes of approximately 6.8 kilometers and can be done whenever there is snow in the mountains.

You have two options:

• Rent snowshoes: we leave them with you for a full day so you can go explore the paths you want. Along the way you will find signs and beacons that will tell you where to go so there will be no problem nor will you get lost.
  
• Go with a guide: we will accompany you on excursions that last around 3 hours. We recommend this option for those who simply want a walk in the mountains and who like to discover areas that they would not reach on their own.

We have searched for a very special climbing area where you will find more than 30 different routes and where you can test your skill by climbing with other professionals. It is a space in Larra where you will find four different sectors to practice:

• Eraiz Sector: you will find routes of quite high difficulty. You have to be a professional or at least have technical climbing knowledge to be able to do these vertical routes.
  
• El Ferial Sector: we find a couple of routes of medium difficulty but also other more complicated ones. It is a wall of approximately 13 meters and in which you will find 6 different routes.
  
• Zampori Sector: although it is a 10 meter wall (the lowest of the ones we propose) you will find routes to which you have to come with an expert level.
  
• Arlás Sector: It is the ideal area to train in climbing since the easiest routes are found on its walls. There may be some that are a little more complicated but in general they are easy climbs.

The Roncal Valley has been chosen by the most expert cyclists to explore it and live strong adventures in it. If you also consider yourself one of them, you cannot miss the possibility of passing through the paths, forests and ravines that exist in this area.

The bicycle is the perfect vehicle to enter into a total connection with nature since it allows us to cross it in a unique way. You will cycle along established trails and routes and you will go with a Roncalia instructor so there will be no way to deviate from the route.

We recommend that you come as a group to ride a mountain bike or, at least, convince another person to come with you to enjoy this adventure on wheels. This way you will spend one of the best days together in which there will be no shortage of fun or the excitement of crossing paths full of obstacles.
