Vera Mountain

In Vera Mountain Climbing we show you the Tiétar Region from the heights through this discipline whose objective is vertical progression on the rock.

Each of our activities are designed to adapt to the level and physical condition of the participants:

- Baptism of climbing and rappelling: our goal will be to obtain the first impressions of the technique used in this activity, getting closer to the commonly used material. It is completed in a single day and can be done without any prior experience.

- Introduction to climbing course: this is an option for which experience is not necessary but we will not stop at a first contact. It will take us 2 days and we will know how to climb on long routes.

- Advanced course: for participants who have already gone through a first training program. We will test the techniques to use for routes of more than one length and we will gain autonomy.

- Classical climbing course: for this option, it will be essential to have gone through the advanced course or demonstrate sufficient knowledge in a practice day that we will use as an evaluation.

If you haven't tried canyoning yet, with Vera Mountain you have no excuse to miss it. You will be able to get to know the La Vera Gorge from its interior, enjoying the river in its purest form.

We will teach you to explore the upper part of the river along the canyon formed by its waters, for which we will use different techniques, including rappelling. We will have the opportunity to jump, slide through its rock slides or face narrow passages that will require our balance.

You have two alternatives to practice canyoning with us:

- Full day canyoning: the only requirement is that you know how to swim. We will learn about the material, the environment and the application of descent techniques while having fun.

- Introduction to canyoning course: over two days, we will not limit ourselves to traveling along the chosen section of the river, but we will try to acquire the necessary knowledge to achieve autonomy in this sport.

Any of the options are developed under the coordination of a certified instructor. Remember to come with appropriate sports shoes, a swimsuit, something to change into, water and some food to regain strength.
