Special Surf School

Special Surf School is a surf school located in Cantabria, in Mogro. Directed by Dani and Raúl García, 2 professionals with extensive experience in the world of surfing, we offer courses and other activities with surfing as the main element.

• Surf courses for all levels. We examine the student's level and look for the beach that best suits their needs and abilities.

• Surf camps: for adults and children in Rodiles, Asturias. Combining surfing with full board accommodation throughout the year.

We have equipment to rent, for those who want to come surf with us. We do not stick to the summer season, and we offer you surfing all year round.

The prestigious and innovative surf school Special Surf School organizes surf camps for the summer and Easter. We tell you all the details:

• What the price includes: accommodation in a chalet in Villaviciosa (Asturias) on a full board basis, surf lessons (3 hours a day for 6 days), instructors, insurance and optional activities ( paintball, canoes, pilates, dancing, excursions,...)

• The accommodation: chalet with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and living room, with 2,500 m2 of land, sports area, library, and all kinds of amenities.

• The material: we put at your disposal beginner boards, wetsuits, paddle surf boards and long boards, skates and a helmet system with aquatic receptors, to receive the instructor's orders.

• Conditions: we accept a maximum of 20 students, for all ages at Easter and for children from 10 to 17 years old in summer.

Our camps are for small groups, in this way we guarantee the quality of the teaching.

At Special School Surf we are experts in the practice of surfing. Our teachers are all expert surfers who have now decided to dedicate themselves to teaching to prepare the new generation of surfers.

We offer complete training divided into three categories and, within each one, we subdivide it into two other levels.

In the initiation courses you will learn the basics to learn to handle the board, swim on it and begin to stand up and face a small wave.

At intermediate levels we will teach you to analyze the waves properly, to interpret them as well as the specific techniques and positions of this sport.

At the advanced level we will teach you how to get out of the wave perfectly, how to surf in an elegant way and other specific positions that are more complicated to perform.

And if what you want is to become the best and start competing, go through our latest competitive level training offer in which we will teach you more maneuvers and how to chain one with another.

Paddle surfing is a way of moving through the water that combines part of surfing and part of kayaking. It involves standing on a surfboard (a little larger) and propelling yourself and moving forward thanks to a paddle. It is a very simple sport to do as well as very complete, so it will help you improve your physical condition quickly.

At Special School Surf we have launched into the practice of this sport and now we want you to discover it too. For this we have introduction classes to paddle surfing in which we will teach you how to stay on the board, the proper paddling technique and, when you control these aspects, we will get into the water.

We will be able to make trips of great beauty along the Mogro beach and discover the best sandy areas of Cantabria in the area of Abra del Pas.

Furthermore, the simplicity of this sport allows you to enjoy it with whoever you want, you can come with your children and enjoy a great day with your family. It is also ideal to spend a romantic afternoon as a couple or to enjoy with friends.
