Welcome to Plymouth and Devon Schools Sailing Association

We are a not for profit volunteer organisation located on Commercial Wharf, a convenient location with easy access to the city centre. We are an RYA Recognised Training Centre and AALA Licensed.

We offer excellent sailing, kayaking and powerboat courses, and we have a wide range of training equipment. We provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for learning, and can cater for all abilities. We welcome school groups and other organisations as well as individuals and families. 

Our range of courses includes one off taster and introductory sessions, weekly sessions or multi activity weeks, club activities, holiday activities, NGB courses, RYA Instructor courses, as well as a weekly Saturday club.

All courses can be tailored to you to match your needs and budget.

Our Staff and Instructors

Our team of volunteers are passionate about sailing and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our instruction and coaching is to the highest standard, all of instructors are DBS checked, and we maintain RYA and BCU ratios at all times.
