Family canyoning experience at Dewerstone for 4h

One member of your family loves swimming; another one, climbing; a third, walking; and you, what do you like doing? To please you all (because 4 is the minimum number of people per group), we have designed our gorge walking experience for 4 hours in Shaugh Prior, a town where people usually stop before continuing to Plymouth and, in recent years, have become more and more popular thanks to our canyoning activities.

When you book your session with us, you will come to Dewerstone Gorge, a British National Trust place of interest thanks to, for instance, historical facts like being the town where Chinese clay items were treated. Right here, our adventure will be held on the River Plym.

You will love this experience that will take you to different stretches of the river, from waterfalls to areas where you can enjoy swimming. It is perfect for all of you as a family because our team constantly adapt the adventure to your needs or weather conditions. Are your children very young? Don't worry! Instructors like Matt, who has been part of our team since 2015 and is responsible for these kinds of sessions, will make sure that you are comfortable and ok during the trip and will tell you funny details about our land. We will also be pleased to answer any doubt you may have before coming because, in the end, what we want to achieve is your fun.

During canyoning, you will discover amazing features like channels where you can swim on crystal clear waters or rocky cliffs from where you'll be able to climb and behold the coastline. In addition, you don't need to fit in any particular condition (you don't need to be an adventurous lover or have a concrete type of body).

Buoyancy aids, helmets, harnesses and equipment are included, but you have to remember to put some comfortable clothes and a pair of shoes on your backpack before coming!
