Welcome to Outlaw Charters
We offer fishing charters from our base in Dartmouth. We offer a range of services, including:
- Mid channel wreck fishing
- ´Skerries Banks´ fishing
- 2 and 3 day Turbot and Brill expeditions to the Channel Islands
We welcome total beginners as well as more experienced anglers, and can provide rods and reels if you haven´t yet bought your own.
Location
We are based in Dartmouth, an excellent location from which to access many of the destinations that are popular with sea anglers throughout the UK.
The Boat
‘Outlaw’ is a 33' Vigilante. She can cruise effortlessly for a full day at 16knts, and can reach a maximum speed just over 29knts. Her hull design is also used for pilot vessels, customs & excise patrol boats and police launches, so you can be assured of her sturdiness and safety characteristics.
She is spacious and comfortable. and has a 13' beam with a spacious clear flush deck area, as well as a large wheelhouse with covered seating area and galley table. She also has a separate flushing external toilet.
Outlaw is also equipped with the latest marine hardware including:
- 2 VHF Radios
- 2 GPS Receivers
- Radar
- AIS (automatic identification system for tracking vessels)
- 2 Echo Sounders
- Autopilot
- Ground Definition System
- Stereo, Kettle and Microwave
- All MCA Code of Practice safety equipment for travelling up to 60 miles from a safe haven
The Skipper
Owen Mallia has been involved in the fishing industry for over twenty five years. He is fully qualified with an RYA Yacht master Offshore ticket, and he also holds all of the necessary sea survival, fire fighting, first aid and safety certificates, ensuring you have a safe trip aboard.

When she went through her sea trial, the Outlaw proved she was capable of powering through the water at 29 knots thanks to her 420 hp Caterpillar engine, with a cruising speed of 20 knots. This means that no matter if you want to tour the coast or explore the Channel Islands, we will be able to take up to 12 passengers on board this stable vessel in comfort on our large and comfortable deck area.
