It is a descent of about 5 hours so you have to expect some resistance on your part. We do this activity inopen kayak and it requires some experience.

We can also descend this canyon in a tandem kayak, if you want to share the experience with another person at the same time, dividing the effort when using the paddles. Or with a monitor so you feel safer.

El Cabriel also has the charm of not having buildings or industries next to its riverbed. It is a river in a natural state, without the influence of humans.

We usually do rafting on the Cabriel River. This river offers us different possibilities, depending on what you are looking for.

If you want to do an initiation descent, we have several sections available:

• The Prisons.
• Tete.
• Tamayo.

If you come as a family, we can do those same sections and make the descent so that the whole family has a great time. It can be done from the age of 5.

And, if you want a total adventure, get our complete descent, in which we tour the Hoces y los Cuchillos del Cabriel. We begin the descent at the Contreras Dam and reach the Valdocañas Bridge. A 20 kilometer route full of rapids, such as El Paredón, El Caos or El Purgatorio! The ultimate whitewater experience.

We mainly do descents in the Cabriel River. Depending on your level, we will choose one section or another, since there are ideal areas to start and other more technical ones for people who have previous experience.

This is one of those activities that you can do with the whole family because even the little ones can start practicing it and enjoy a walk in the middle of one of the most beautiful natural environments we have in the area.

The canoes used by Kalahari are 2 seater, so you can navigate with whoever you choose. In addition, these types of canoes are very stable, so it is quite difficult to capsize.

During the crossings, the instructors will play a series of water games such as ambushes for the rest of the canoes, races or splashing them with the paddles, among others, to make the activity even more fun.

If you are looking for a good place to practice canyoneering, near Valencia, Kalahari is your place!

We love practicing canyoning, among many other activities. Therefore, we can take you on descents that are ideal for you. Before starting the descent, our instructors will provide you with the neoprene, helmet and life jacket. You will only have to bring some mountain boots or sneakers that can get wet, hold your foot well and do not slip.

They will also give you basic instructions such as the position to jump into the pools, what is the safety position within the river, how to swim to go from one bank of the river to the other if there is a current, etc.

Do you want to live strong emotions in the river? We recommend that you come and meet us, because not only will you be in front of the most surprising nature just 2 hours from Madrid, but you will also be able to practice outdoor sports and acquire knowledge from the hand of our guides, some passionate about the mountains and the environment.

We carry out individual canoe descents along the Cabriel River, where you will find several routes as well as sections to which we will take you by level. In all sections, gentle kilometers are combined with rapids, which will mean that in the same route you can enjoy a pleasant walk, letting yourself go and enjoying the landscape and rapids that will make all your senses alert and you will have to paddle hard. to be able to cross them.
