At Buena Onda Surf School we are specialists in water sports, we are located on El Rosal beach, in San Vicente de la Barquera, Cantabria. A perfect place to practice surfing.
This school is designed for lovers of water sports. In it we teach surf, bodyboard and paddle surf classes with the best instructors in the area. All of them are trained and in possession of the necessary titles to teach classes and make them an unforgettable experience. We also have the collaboration ofhighly known professionals.
The courses we offer are very diverse and varied but they all share the same objective, which is fun combined with learning a sport. We have several different levels for each student, whether they are beginners or have an intermediate level.
Our instructors will be in charge of forming groups according to the level of experience so we ensure quality teaching.
You canrent or buy the material at the school. We have the most advanced and qualified equipment so that you can successfully perform this magnificent sport.
We feel a great passion for this sport, and that is why every year we organize surfcamps for all types of audiences, from the youngest to the oldest, regardless of age. They will be during the week and also during the weekend.

Despite what it may seem at first glance, it is a very simple activity if what you want is to enjoy thepaddle surfing trips, you will only have to maintain your balance on the board and paddle to be able to spend it in big. If, on the other hand, you want to be able to enjoy surfing on this board, things will be complicated, but for this we will have our instructors, who will teach you everything you need so that you can master the board as you wish.
With us you will have different options for courses and classes to hire depending on your needs and what you are looking for:
- Flatwater: it will be the perfect initiation in which we will teach you how to stay afloat.
- 2 classes: if you want to start from scratch and practice crossings, this will be your course.
- 5 classes: it is the perfect opportunity to start learning surfing from the paddle board and be able to challenge the waves by paddling.
- Traverse: once you have gotten the hang of paddle surfing, it will be the perfect opportunity to go out and discover the nature that surrounds us with a fantastic route aboard our board.
In addition, you will also have two types of boards, since you can have a great time with our XXL board and very good company, being able to ride a large group of friends or family on it, or the classic of a lifetime.

Located in a privileged place where you will have perfect waves for practicing surfing, in this camp you will have a fascinating opportunity to become an ace on the board and have a great time riding the waves. Our surf camp opens in summer, the ideal time to come and enjoy this activity.
Throughout the experience you will have professional instructors who will train you and give you all the tricks and classes, both practical and theoretical. Daily you will have 4 hours of class divided into 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, and during the rest of the time you will have a lot of activities to do so that you will not be bored for a single second.
In addition, we will include the rental of all the material so that you do not have to worry about anything, both the board and the suit and anything that is necessary.
You can also choose the duration of the camp, 7 days, 10 or 15, depending on how much you want to learn or have fun with this intense sport. From here we always say one thing: the more the better!
These days you will stay in apartments with shared rooms between 6 or 4 people, so you will strengthen ties with your colleagues and surely make long-lasting friendships. You will have all the comforts you can imagine, kitchen, bathrooms and two terraces to admire the views of the beach.
