At Eoactivo we have focused on canoe descents along the bed of the Eo, one of the most representative rivers in Asturias that runs through the municipality of San Tirso de Abres.

We consider sailing in this type of boat as one of the events that you cannot miss during your visit to this part of the northern peninsula. For this reason, we have prepared facilities that will make your experience more inviting and comfortable. They have changing rooms so you can change with ease and showers for when we have finished the activity.

We will go in canoes with 1 to 3 seats for which experience is not necessary in any of these two options:

- Excursion through the Bajo Eo: there are 5 kilometers that are tackled in the mouth area in a time that usually reaches 90 minutes. It takes place daily between mid-June and September.

- Descent of the Eo: we extend the route to 6 km with an average duration of 2 hours for adults and children from 5 years old. By the way, dogs are also welcome. The instructors will explain the activity before leaving and will act as guides until we reach the goal. Depending on the season we will leave Monday and Thursday or every day.

At Eoactivo we have chosen a green route to explore by mountain bike that is equally attractive to regular cycling and those who only use this medium in their leisure time from time to time.

We rent you one of our mountain bikes for half a day with the possibility of carrying a baby seat. With them we will do the Railway Route in an adventure that has hardly any difficulty and will make everyone feel comfortable.

You will complete 12 kilometers that run parallel to the bed of the Eo River. What draws the participants' attention the most are the 6 tunnels that are distributed along this itinerary. You will also find small dams and hanging bridges that turn the landscape into a setting that takes us decades back in time.

The excursion begins in the area previously used as the San Tirso de Abres station. After the first tunnels we will have made our way to a power plant that has its origins in the 1930s.

It is a practically online route that is usually completed in 4 hours. The last part gives us the choice of whether to return on the way back or pedal to A Pontenova.
