Company Overview
We are a charter boat operation based in Gt Yarmouth taking out fishing/diving parties aboard our Offshore 105 fast fishing vessel High Flyer. She boasts 400 Turbo charged engine,has onboard toilet facilities, short wheelhouse for lots of deck space particulary suited to angling.
Our operation run generally on a daily basis but can cater for half days for those who just want a few hours to catch some summer mackerel etc. We provide for both single and party bookings ,novices and experienced people ,total beginners, with full tuition if neccessary. Tackle and bait can be provided please inform skipper beforehand.
Safety is our most important factor we are coded COP 2 for 10 anglers and 2 crew distance of 60 mile,full safety kit on board,,members of Proffessional Boating Association,
Summary Boat Trips
Boat trips aboard High Flyer are generally angling but we can adapt to many options.
We advise that booking the boat for the day is the best option as you can personally invite your own friends for whatever activity you require.
We get requests from bird watching trips,photography along the coast in either direction,, ash scatttering, seal watching, diving charters, estuary trip up Breydon Water , along with the odd commercial job for the offshore industry.
We can also provide netting sessions summer and winter ie,Herring Fishing etc. along with our night time fishing programs proving very popular.

Summary Yacht Charters
Apart from our angling trips we also have been chartered for many other uses from general hire for the day for sight seeing, early or late bird watching parties as we are close to Breydon Water Estuary and can book a bridge lift in advance to go up river.
The wind turbines at Scoby Sands are popular to visit for the seal population lay on the sands. Also a popular venue for Ash Scattering for peoples last wishes as it can be viewed from the shore .
Our regular photography group also take advantage of still summer mornings to catch the sun coming up as we hit the rays first as Lowestoft is our most Easterly point.
Summary Fishing
We fish depending on weather and tide strength many different venues from wrecks to sandbanks, inshore and offshore ,species differ from seasons, tope fishing combined with bass, wrecks for cod and ling, drifting for mackerel, general bottom fishing and uptiding methods.
Drifting the offshore sandbanks can be very productive for turbot, brill, and large flatfish using live sandeel caught on small feathers similar to mackerel.
Pirking the wrecks for large cod is very tiring in deep water testing your arms all day but very rewarding. We like to encourage fish returns once you have adequate amount for the table.
