The key advantage of SUP lies in those first two letters, which mean Stand Up. Unlike other small watercraft, you can get expansive, 360º views of the land/waterscape when you’re paddleboarding.
In an area like the Norfolk Broads, this makes SUP particularly attractive. We’re based at Martham Broad, where channels of flat water are edged by reeds and vegetation. If you hire one of our paddleboards for half a day, you can peek over the top and see the whole wetland ecosystem around you.
When you arrive at our venue, we’ll give you a safety briefing which includes showing you a map of the area. Then we’ll distribute buoyancy aids, paddles and boards (we have several different sizes to suit all kinds of people). There are dry bags and wetsuits available for hire too at a small additional cost.
We recommend SUP hire to those with some experience on the water. You must book with at least one other person and be over 16 years old.
