Company Overview
Our center offers state-of-the-art equipment to get the most out of your experience, (we test the boards of the famous Hawaiian surfer Jimmy Lewis) as well as an educational offer able to train the students who will attend our courses, maintained by highly qualified personnel with years of experience. Our center also has a branch office in Malta, which is why we offer the possibility of organizing sports trips to countries such as Slovenia and Malta , to spend a holiday dedicated to our favorite sport and to nature.
We invite all those who approach these sports for the first time to ask us for any kind of information to be able to realize how much this sport can make you have fun and relax while remaining in contact with nature and landscapes that they will make you want to repeat this magnificent experience. We offer Paddle Surf, Kite Surf and Surf courses as well as a wide range of personalized services including night and day excursions on the sea, lake and rivers, in a coastal area with a thousand faces, where you will have the opportunity to admire the local flora and fauna in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Italy.
Summary Paddle Boarding
Discover Sup is the largest amateur association in Calabria and specializes in water sports on board, in particular in SUP (Stand up Paddle). The association was founded in 2013 and still today confirms itself as the only reality in Calabria to promote and disseminate a specialized educational offer that respects the ISA standards for the introduction of newcomers to the world of SUP. In our center you can try the best and most advanced equipment for practicing this beautiful sport, we are testers of the famous Hawaiian Jimmy Lewis boards. We collaborate with centers abroad to allow our customers to practice SUP in Calabrifornia, Malta and Slovenia, trips that we organize under the banner of Paddle Surfing. We offer our customers various courses and excursions divided by level such as:
- Course for beginners, for those who have never practiced this sport and want to approach it for the first time
- Advanced course for those who already have some experience and want to improve the techniques used to learn more and more
- Professional course for those who are already a Pro but are not "satisfied" with experience
- Excursions organized to appreciate the SUP at 360 degrees

Discovery Sup is the largest reality in Calabria specialized in water sports that are practiced on board a board, such as surfing. our association is relatively young, the club was born in 2013 and since then it has been trying to bring as many people as possible closer to this fantastic sport respecting the necessary safety standards. We organize courses of various levels to increase your experience or simply get started in this sport that keeps us in contact with natural landscapes of inestimable value.
In our center you can try our cutting-edge equipment to make your experience unique and unforgettable. As the main location we use the area of Lido di Squillace, an area frequented by many surfers and as a meeting point for practicing this sport. Our center organizes various activities, below is a list of the proposed activities:
- Basic level surfing course, for those who are approaching this sport for the first time and who want to learn how to ride a board by following the techniques taught by the instructors, in order to learn to surf in a short time
- Intermediate level course, for those who already have some experience in this sport, or who have finished a basic course and want to continue learning to be able to launch into bigger waves and surf with a little more level
Normally we carry out our activities in the Lido di Squillace area and the period during which it is possible to take surf courses goes from April to September. For any question you may have, do not hesitate to contact us, we will reply as soon as possible.
