Company Overview
Club Marítim Altafulla is a sailing school located in Altafulla, Tarragona. At the end of 1972 the Coastal Law forced the school building to be demolished. On June 18, 1977, the school we know today was inaugurated.
Not only is it a great destination to enjoy the Costa Dorada because it is on the beachfront, but it is an excellent opportunity to practice the most popular water sports.
Our school is located in an area of natural interest, due to the mouth of the Gaiá River. With a varied offer of sailing courses, you can also choose between windsurfing and windsurfing classes. to summer camps for the youngest members of the house in the summer where they can do different activities.

Summary Paddle Boarding
At Club Marítim Altafulla we love everything that has to do with sport and the sea, and paddle surfing is also so fashionable that it is unthinkable that you can't practice it with us.
You can't imagine how relaxing and physically complete it is to paddle a board through this incredible place on the Costa Dorada. To enjoy that moment of maximum relaxation you just have to come to our facilities and rent the material.
We have two types of boards, one more rigid and another more flexible depending on your level or if it is the first time you try this activity. If so, it will only take you a few minutes to get the hang of standing while maintaining your balance as you move forward.
Currently, yoga is also practiced on SUP boards, an excellent way considering that the sea, and even more so if it is the Mediterranean, relaxes in itself.
You can do it alone or come in company and take a short route through the incredible surroundings of this area of the Tarragona coast, enjoying every corner and breathing in that unmistakable smell of the sea. You will immediately fall in love with this fun way of doing sports.

In our school you can learn to navigate in any of its forms:
- The Hobie Catsy is perfect for a first contact with the little ones, approximately between 7 and 11 years old. Similar to a catamaran but with the appropriate size, it makes comfortable and fun navigation possible.
- For kids between 6 and 15 years old, we have a type of international sailboat, our Optimist is perfect to get started in competition in the safest way.
- To continue learning we have the junior sailing skate. Different because it does not have a rudder, it is a light boat in which your own movement will be in charge of navigation.
- The next step is to move on to thesenior sailing skate.Also with a single crew member and with a single sail, in our club you can practice at any time of the year to learn sailing through one of the most pure.
- If you want to continue experiencing sensations while sailing, your boat is the catamaran. We have two models which offer the greatest security and speed to those who already have hours of experience behind them.
