General information
Company Overview
Altitude26 is a microlight flying school located near Romans-sur-Isère, in the Drôme. We offer first flights and piloting initiations for those who want to take the controls for the first time, as well as two pilot training courses in multi-axis ULM and paramotor.
The two disciplines are not practiced in the same place. The multi-axis is flown from the Romans-Saint-Paul aerodrome, at a place called Les Chasses in Saint-Paul-lès-Romans. Paramotoring is learned at the Ratières ULM base, near Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse.
The courses are given by Nicolas Plaisier, multi-axis ULM and paramotor instructor. He started flying a paramotor in 1997 near Reims, his hometown, and he discovered multi-axis in 2010 without ever abandoning the paramotor. A professional firefighter, he also holds national teaching diplomas and is particularly interested in adult training.
With us, safety comes first in flight preparation as well as in explanations and practice. We are just as keen on the pleasure of transmitting and good humor because ULM remains a leisure activity.
All our activities are by appointment throughout the year. Flights are weather dependent and we offer another date when conditions do not permit flying.
