Introduction to ULM piloting, 30 min flight, near Valence
General information
Deal overview
Would you like to know what it feels like to fly a microlight without committing to full training? This introduction to ULM piloting lasts around an hour on site with the briefing, including 30 minutes of flight during which you pilot yourself most of the time. We welcome you to Altitude26 at the Romans-Saint-Paul aerodrome, in Saint-Paul-lès-Romans near Romans-sur-Isère.
Before boarding, your instructor explains to you on the ground how a ULM flies and what the controls are for, as well as the three axes and the landmarks that you will use once in the air. You will take off following his instructions and you will remain in control for most of the flight, with his explanations on the intercom. The device is equipped with a dual control which allows the instructor to accompany you on landing.
Good to know: no prior knowledge is necessary. Flights depend on weather conditions and we will offer you another date if they do not allow you to fly properly.
