10 things to do in Huelva

Come to Huelva and discover all the adventurous leisure alternatives that this Andalucian region, at the southeast part of Sapin, proposes to us. We advise you to meet each corner of the “La Puerta del Atlántico”, in a totally different and fun way. If you want to release adrenaline, bungee jump from a bridge, feel high speeds in its pure state when driving a Ferrar or cross the Doñana by a horse… Just keep reading, because the plan we bring you are just amazing.

1. Visit Ayamonte and taste Huelva’s shrimps.



Ayamont becomes an obligatory stop if you are staying in the region of Huelva. You can discover one the most important ports of Andalucia in the southern city, bordering Portugal. Also, in a restaurant with typical food you can taste the star product, the delicious Huelva’s shrimp, accompanied by white wine. Don’t you think this is a great plan?

2. Paragliding through Matalascañas.



Discover how Matalscañas is and the beach of Huelva from 500 meters in height, with an exciting paragliding flight. You will go accompanied by an expert pilot, with which you will carry out a short race to take-off, and go up ti cross the skies of this Andalucian region. A great combination of white houses under your feet and the coast as the background, will be the protagonists of your flight.

3. Boat trip through the El Rompido coast.



Pass 4 hours surrounded by the people you love whilst sailing in a classic sailboat that was built almost 90 years ago. You will depart from the El Rompido Bay and continue the trip through the Piedras estuary. You will arrive at Punta del Gato, where you can moore and even take a swim if the weather allows it. You will also enjoy a delicious appetizer on board.

4. Ride a horse through the dunes, beach and Doñana Park.



Have fun in the Luz Coast in its pure taste with a horseback route through the surroundings of the Doñana National Park. Our schedule consists of travelling through the Asperillo dunes and the beach shore, whilst enjoying beautiful sights. It will be 2 hours, full of adventure and nature.

5. Try to paddle surf in Islantilla.



You can’t miss the opportunity of passing a great time in the beach of Islantilla and enjoy the most trending water sport. Whether you dominate it, or is your first time, you will have the options to rent the pieces of equipment, take initiatory courses or complete routes.

6. Enjoy jet ski route up to the Canela island.



If you are going to pass your Summer vacations in Huelva, you can’t miss the opportunity to drive a jet ski for 1 hour. You can check how exciting it is to accelerate in the middle of the sea. During the route, the instructor will be guiding you from its jet ski and reach interesting places like the mouth of the Guadiana river or La Canela canyon. Because the jet skis are two-seaters, you can go with the person you choose and even change seats during the route.

7. Drive a Ferrari in Monteblanco.



Get ready to make a reality one of your dreams, to drive the famous Ferrari F430 F1 in the Monteblanco’s circuit. You can carry out 2 laps in this racetrack, and enjoy to the max each round, turn, stop, and speed up. Firstly, you will do a recognition lap and go as a co-pilot, and then, put yourself behind the wheel of this incredible sports car.

8. Bungee Jumping in Zalamea la Real.



Don’t anybody tell you, and be yourself who experiences an incredible high feel of adrenaline. In Zalamea la Real will be waiting for you in the Cinco Ojos bridge, so you jump to the void over the Odiel river. You will have the best safety systems, and the instructor will help you to do the great jump. Also, so you can boast to your friends and on your social networks, you will have the opportunity of including a pics or video report. Are you ready for something to extreme?

9. Kayaking through the Piedras River Marshes.



The natural sights of the Piedras River offers us the possibility of navigating through its beautiful morass and watch different types of birds that live in this area. It will be a 3-hour guided tour, where you will paddle with the guide of a compass, to take the same path and enjoy the beautiful sights that surrounds you.

10. Cross the Cartaya pinewoods by a quad.



If you love the world of motors and want to live an experience totally off-road, where you don’t need to worry about the terrain conditions, but to have fun on them, this route by a wuad will captivate you. The place will be the majestic pine groves of Cartaya, where the local flora is represented by the lentics and rochrose flowers, and even sport some marsh harrier. You will cross rivers and even find different prominences during the route which makes the journey a complete adventure.
