Doñana a Caballo gives you all the facilities so that you can enjoy its beautiful horses on routes through this area in southern Spain. We always have routes adapted for you regardless of age and level, since we have horses that meet the requirements for each category.
The trips can range from an hour to a full day, always depending on the rider's choice and availability. We have three options:
- Panoramic Route: a walk through the Village of El Rocío, with an estimated time of one hour, visiting its most emblematic places.
- Doñana Experience Route: we begin by crossing the Rocío to continue through the Natural Park along its forests along traditional livestock trails. We will arrive at Coto del Rey by crossing the Ajolí Bridge which we will have reached via the Raya Real. It will be around 120 minutes.
- Night Gastronomic Route: to taste the most typical dishes while we stay in contact with the horse. We will walk at night through the highest quality establishments for a dinner that is beyond the ordinary.
- Special Couples Route: we will have a magnificent romantic dinner riding for 2 hours along the trails that give access to Doñana. The dishes on the menu will help you try traditional cuisine, making this moment unique.
But this does not end here and we offer you all the facilities to carry out these itineraries in horse carriages, for greater comfort and ease when it comes to seeing this Andalusian area with years of tradition.

The nature that adorns the paths to travel through Doñana will make you fall in love with it from the first minute. In addition to the various routes that we have organized and the fun rides in horse-drawn cars, we offer you several activities specifically focused on groups.
In one of these activities you will be able to discover the wonders of the Rocío roads, those routes that all the brotherhoods follow in order to reach the hermitage where the Virgen del Rocío is located. Distributed in several horse carriages you will enter the area of the preserves. During the journey you will enjoy the atmosphere of joy that accompanies the traditions present in the place. Your party will be unforgettable!
Also, if you wish, you can enjoy a equestrian show and learn from professionals the skills of Doñana horses thanks to the multiple equestrian disciplines.
But if one of these two activities is not enough for you, enjoy our special program in which for 4 hours you can have a great time with horse carriage rides through Coto del Rey and El Rocío, and then go by vehicle to the Hinojos and Matasgordas Marisma.
The joy of this land along with its natural beauty will make this bachelor party a unique experience.
Summary Team Building
At Doñana a Caballo we are not satisfied with offering the same thing to our public and that is why we have thought of specific proposals for incentive programs and business events. All of them are aimed at getting to know and enjoy Doñana in a complete and different way through:
- Rocío roads: we will follow the same itineraries that the brotherhoods travel through on their pilgrimage to Rocío to visit the Hermitage of their patron saint. We will do it in horse carriages that will give us access to the preserve area within Doñana.
- Equestrian shows: with a traditional vision of the relationship between the animal and its rider to show you the most typical equestrian modalities around the marshes. You will understand where the connection lies between the horses and the Natural Park area.
- Combined program: for which we prepare both an excursion in horse-drawn carriages and a visit in one of our vehicles. They are arranged for a minimum of 20 participants and are planned within half a day with an average duration of 4 hours. We will take you to the Hinojos Marisma with the opportunity to get to know Matasgordas and its cork oaks.

I spent a great morning with Crisanto, a very nice and long route, we entered the Doñana Park and then walked through the streets of Rocío.
I have to say that despite the failure that occurred on the day the activity had been agreed upon, they quickly postponed it to the next day and it was carried out without a problem. By knowing how to ride a horse I was able to gallop some part of the route. A very good experience for anyone who wants to get to know Doñana and the village.

Dangerous excursion, no information has been given to us on the practice and the safety instructions to follow when we were beginners and we had clearly specified.
People did not speak English enough to have a quality outing, we also mentioned it that we did not speak Spanish.
We had no interaction with the guide when we thought we had information on the reserve, his fauna and his flora. It was simply 2 hours of horse riding to observe the landscape, when the horses remained quiet enough, which was not always the case.
Two horses were frightened for an unknown reason, one of which left suddenly, failing to drop his rider, and was strongly reprimanded by the guide (the horse).
