Surf camps in Asturias have a wide range of possibilities available thanks to the more than 300 kilometres of coastline that this Autonomous Community has to offer. One of the best areas in Spain to learn to surf, without a doubt.

In Asturias, these programmes have options for all ages. Here the word "camp" is not only associated with children. Surf camps are courses the aim of which is to learn how to surf intensively and have accommodation in the school itself or in establishments that are associated with it.

They can last for a week or several weeks, although there are also short-term courses where you can take advantage of the weekend or a long weekend. Several hours are devoted in the mornings to carry out group surf lessons in which the students are grouped according to their level. Depending on the intensity of the camp there may also be classes in the afternoon. The rest of the time the students have the material at their disposal to practice on their own what they have been learning.

When there are no surf lessons, other activities are organised on the facilities and sports courts of the place where they are located, and are made available to the students so that they can combine this aquatic discipline with other sports.

- In Villaviciosa you have surf camps on the beach of Rodiles, just 20 minutes from Gijón, with accommodation in a surf house next to the sea, which means you will save the time that is usually needed to travel from the accommodation to the place the lessons are held. - Celorio, in the well-known town of Llanes, you will find a surf and English camp available and aimed only at children from 7 years old and teenagers up to 16 years old. In this option, 15 hours are devoted to learn and improve their skills on the board and the rest of the time other active leisure activities are practised. - Llanes is also a popular tourist spot and the ideal place to follow one of these surf camps for all ages and levels, sleeping in a surf house with amenities such as wi-fi connection and a communal lounge equipped with a television to relax with your course mates.

- From Avilés you will be well-communicated by public transport with the camps in Playa de las Salinas, since you can get there in 10 minutes by train or by bus. The accommodation at this surf camp includes breakfast and a spot for you in one of the rooms of a large chalet. The surf lessons are 120 minutes long, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. You will be accommodated on a full board basis with 2 hours of surfing lessons per day. - In San Juan de la Arena you have surf camps in Playa de Los Quebrantos with special options organised by age and gender. This classic camp is designed for people over 18 years old and is available from March to November. In addition to the surf lessons, it includes a paddle surf lesson and you can book as many days as you need. The youth camp is organised for participants between 12 and 17 years old and there is a combined version with English.
