Escuela de Surf Ribadesella

The Ribadesella Surf School bases its function on teaching surfing and the beach. We have a quality center equipped with the best facilities and qualified and experienced teachers in this sport.

The classes take place on the beaches located a few meters from Ribadesella. Small groups with a maximum of six people per monitor.

When the weather conditions are adverse, teaching classes are given individually to each group with a duration of one hundred and twenty minutes per class.

In our school it is possible to take these courses for both the youngest and adults. For children, they must be at least eight years old to be able to carry out the activities.

At the Ribadesella Surf School we offer a wide variety of services:

• School where you can enjoy all the activities related to surfing in a group or receive private lessons.

• Rowing Surf School or Paddle Surf is a growing activity in which you can enjoy quiet walks along the estuary and around our coasts.

• Longboard School: we also have courses for those passionate about skateboarding with our specialized teachers. This activity is totally complementary to surfing for those days when there are no waves or we do not have a nearby beach.

• Campus for adults in which we have all the necessary amenities (Surfhouse, bungalows and hotels) and at the same time enjoy other activities combined with surfing.

• Rural Hostel open all year round but in summer it is for exclusive use for the surf camp and the rest of the year it is available for all types of people.

• Surf Camp for children which is based on personalized learning. Accommodation in our Surfhouse a few meters from the beach.

At the Ribadesella Surf School you will find the most exclusive Surf Camps. Our main objective is the personalization of classes through student attention based on proximity.

In addition, you will stay in our surf house, located just 30 meters from the beach. If you come in a group, we can adapt the available places by completing them with hotels, hostels, bungalows and camping according to your preferences and needs.

The camp can be completed in one weekend, five or seven days. They all include:

- Stay next to the beach on a full board basis.
- 2 hours of surf lessons per day and time to practice freely under the supervision of the instructor.
- Material: Quicksilver Roxy board and suit.
- Video recording of the student to correct the technique.
- CD with your photos.
- Accident and civil liability insurance.

Surfing will, of course, be the central activity of the day, but we will also combine it with SUP, long skate, soccer and volleyball. There will also be time to relax through yoga and share impressions about the influence of the weather or the tides.

If you still think you need more reasons, once a week we schedule: the descent of the Sella by canoe, paintball, caving, horseback riding...

At Surfcamp Ribadesella we are also your paddle surf school on the Asturian coast. We offer you an approach to this sport both within our surf camps and contracted as an independent course.

Our classes are planned in real time with the aim of selecting the most suitable point in terms of sea conditions on the selected date. That's why we advise you to book it a few days before your visit so that, when the time comes, we have everything ready:

- Lessons last an average of 120 minutes in which you will be training directly with the instructor. This way he will determine what your shortcomings are to work from that point.

- These classes are taught as a route from the Ribadesella estuary and the nearby coastal areas. One of the great advantages that the estuary presents to us is the absence of waves, allowing us to teach in which the waters do not cause difficulty. This way we can concentrate on the use of the material.

Our rates are calculated in total per entire group from a minimum of 2 participants so that, if you come with your friends, it will be more economical.
