Company Overview
Welcome to Bivouac
We offer holidays at our site on the Swinton Estate, one of the most beautiful parts of the Yorkshire Dales. We offer many activities, including climbing and map reading courses.
Our Location
We are located about 5 miles west from Masham, a picturesque Wensleydale market town, and 8 miles north of Ripon. We are also close to the villages of Fearby, Ilton, and Healey, which are only a short drive or half hour walk away.
Our location is also convenient to the A1, about a 30 minutes drive away.
Climbing
We hold our half day of climbing and abseiling at Donholme Quarry. We have regular dates available, please contact us for more information.
Map reading course
Come and enjoy one of our map reading courses with Mark Reid, Mountain Leader and also author of ‘The Inn Way´.
