Sputnik Climbing

From Sputnik Climbing we want to introduce you to snowshoes. They are an accessory that attaches to your footwear to move more easily through the snow. With them we will be ready for beautiful journeys through the Madrid mountains coinciding with the winter months.

The ascents that we propose are carried out along the Sierra de Guadarrama. You will thus get to know a sport that is gaining prominence in the coldest times. Before you put on your rackets you will have instructions from our instructors to know the best way to move with them.

Previous experience is hardly necessary because you will pick it up as you go. Sputnik Climbing offers you two alternative routes so that you can decide which one suits you or you don't have to repeat it if you have already accompanied us before. To have the best control of the activity, we recommend that the group of 15 people not exceed. We will provide you with the snowshoes and usually our excursion will last all morning since it is necessary to make the most of the daylight hours.

Hiking is a way to get to know everything that nature offers us. Enjoy the landscapes of the Pyrenees with Sputnik Climbing. We propose an adventure in which, for 7 days, we will make a complete journey through the mountains, settling into half-board accommodation at the end of each day.

The tour is created by people who live and work in the area because we believe that they are the ones who can best recommend the places to visit to truly appreciate the environment. We will cross lakes, high mountains and forests with black pines, without a doubt one of the most suggestive and exciting trips to take while walking in the Pyrenees.

Our guides will make you enjoy each of the landscapes, telling anecdotes about each place the tour goes through. They will transmit to you that passion that they give off for the mountains and what is found there. You will need mountaineering equipment depending on the season in which the activity takes place and an acceptable physical condition to endure the entire journey. Even so, we can determine before departure what your level of preparation is and adapt to it.

At Sputnik Climbing Escalada we carry out introductory courses for those people who have no knowledge of this mountaineering activity.

Our guides are sports technicians specialized in all areas of climbing. They will guide you, advise you and help you improve your skills. Climbing is not just physical, it is also mental and our team will help you understand it to face those challenges that arise on the wall.

If you have any type of fear, we also have a course in which we can encourage you to lose it. And if what you want is to go much further, join us on one of our trips. One of our favorite destinations is the island of Kalymnos, known as the best place for sport climbing and, if that were not enough, you can rest on its impressive beaches.

We are located in the center of Madrid from where we travel in and out of the peninsula. We have guided routes throughout Spain.
