Summary Canoeing
An authentic canoe adventure has to take place on a salmon river, that's why in Rumbo a Picos we take you along the channels of the Sella and Cares. In two-seater boats, you can live an experience in the heart of Asturian nature.
During the tour you will not only have to face the white waters, you will have the opportunity to spot incredible birds such as buzzards, herons or egrets.
It is a 10 kilometer distance route that takes approximately 3 hours , although it will depend on the physical condition and level of the participants.
To make the descent you will have to bring a swimsuit, t-shirt and closed flip-flops or sneakers that can get wet.
Heading to Picos, bet on adventure, how about you?
Summary Caving
The orography of Asturias and its complicated geology make this province a privileged place for the practice of spelunking. At Rumbo a Picos we organize outings to different natural cavities that have resulted in spectacular nature formations.
In small groups, a guide will take you inside caves and grottoes, showing stalactites, stalagmites and underground rivers along the way. In some sections it can even be called ravine caving, due to the flow carried by some underground canyons.
It is advisable to wear comfortable mountain or sports shoes, the rest of the equipment can be rented at our center: helmet, neoprene, flashlight and harness.
Check out the wonders that you can find underground, we invite you to request more information about our routes.
Summary Canyoning
Rumbo a Picos organizes canyoning for beginner, medium and advanced levels. Depending on the physical condition and experience of the participants we will do:
- Level I: a maximum of two hours with rappels of less than 20 meters, slides with low slopes and jumps of no more than 4 meters high. Morning schedule and usual departure from Llanes, with an approximation of half an hour between car and walk.
- Level II: a minimum of experience and physical condition is necessary to do this 3-hour canyon, although it does not have rappels much higher than level I, there are steeper slides and more complicated jumps.
- Level III: a medium-high difficulty that requires experience in large rappels (up to 50 meters), swimming in water with current and complicated jumps. In short, a fairly high physical demand.
The usual ravines are usually in the Casaño, Rubó, Navedo and Purón rivers, we also usually make excursions through the Vau Azones and Carangas ravines.
Heading to Picos has no limits, what about you?

Highly recommended experience, Rio the guide has made the whole family enjoy the descent, even when we had different levels due to age. -

We had a great time. The hotel with swimming pool and green areas to enjoy after doing activities such as canoeing, canyoning and caving. A perfect plan to make with children and teenagers. We have enjoyed it and also learned. The guide who played us very nice and we laughed a lot with him. Definitely recommended and to repeat. Thank you -

Mass tourism... flee! There were hundreds of canoes, no privacy and the instructions had to be in Spanish and French but only Spanish. In addition the blasé and not very friendly welcome. -

Fantastic experience. We were 5 people almost 50 years old, none of us being a physical marvel and we had a great time. Very well equipped and everything perfectly organized. The guide David a crack. To repeat and spend another wonderful morning. -

It was a very cool experience. We went with a small group and with a guide, Rio, very funny and experienced. I recommend it 100%. The stretch of the river was very pretty - we did rappel, jumps, and slides. The spectacular site. -
