For nearly 27 years now the team at Outdoor Discovery has been living our motto, "driven by smiles" as we provide a great range of exciting activities that everyone, young and old can enjoy.

From our location in Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park we offer a wealth of adventure including our surfing simulator, skiing and snowboarding the whole year round, laser tag, high ropes courses and junior quad biking as well as a great many other adventures!

No matter the activity, you will be lead by a fully qualified instructor on the day. All of our instructors are experienced and hold all of their safety certificates in order to deliver as safe and as enjoyable an experience as possible for you and your group.

Surfing in the Cairngorms National Park you say? You read right, and Outdoor Discovery Surfing can even bring the experience to you.

Amongst the myriad of adventures we offer here at Outdoor Discovery, you can take a break from speeding around the Junior Quad track or scaling our high ropes course and experience the thrill of riding the waves without even having to get wet with our Surf Simulator.

Once you stand up on the board, which is much easier to do than out on the water, we will simulate the sensation of riding a wave, this one takes concentration and balance, but don't worry if you fall off you are surrounded by an inflatable that will provide a nice, soft landing. The longer you stand up the more difficult things become making it a friendly competitive experience to see who can stay on their board the longest!

Everyone from the kids to the grandparents can join in on this tactical adventure with Outdoor Discovery Laser Tag.

Sick and tired of fighting over the remote? Join us at our inflatable laser tag arena and we will kit your out with a helmet and laser rifle so you can settle things the old fashioned way, with a modern technologically advanced twist!

Our laser rifles are completely safe, utilising the same infra red technology as that remote control for your television, wander through the dark confines of the laser arena and may be best person win!

Join us at Outdoor Discovery Canopy for a high flying challenge everyone can enjoy.

Before you climb up to our series of challenges set high above your head, we first go through a full safety briefing and harness you in to a pulley system designed to stop you within moments if your balance isn't up to scratch.

With all of the safety concerns satisfied you will have the chance to scale the totem poles and ladders walking out over the tight rope walks and balancing on the thin beams as your friends and family cheer you on from below.

We have challenges high up and others just a few feet from the ground meaning that everyone can enjoy this experience, and we can build up your confidence to the point you can take on the most challenging, and rewarding elements to really overcome your fears.

This is a great experience for the young ones; bring them along for a day of speed and excitement with Outdoor Discovery Quads.

These miniature quads pack quite a punch, and are fully automatic so the kids don't need to worry about changing gears as they speed around the corners of our  purpose designed track.

The walls of the course are inflatable providing an added element of safety, and we will provide attentive and comprehensive training and safety briefing prior to the race and full supervision once everyone is underway.

There is no hard and fast age restriction, but this is a height restriction to safely ride our quads, a good indication is between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, depending on the rider of course.
