Oil is the basis of the Mediterranean diet. We have it so much within our culture that we forget how important and healthy it is, missing it when we go to other countries and see that gastronomy there is based on worse things. At the Museu i Center de la Cultura de l'Oli de la Granadella, in Lleida, you have the opportunity to learn about the life of olive oil.
Always in the pantry, the process is very interesting, so take a look at what we offer you if you visit the oil museum in this small town:
We have a pioneering project in Catalonia and a benchmark in Spain thanks to our promotion of quality extra virgin olive oil, with perfect facilities and well-trained staff to disseminate in a personalized way the benefits, uses and production of the oil.
The visits last 2 hours, you will leave with the basic knowledge to recognize a good oil and a bad one, understanding why Spanish oil is so acclaimed worldwide.

Electric bicycle routes have the comfort of walking without pedaling all the time and the possibility of enjoying a calmer environment. At the Museu i Center de la Cultura de l'Oli you have a ride on a burricleta through the olive groves of La Granadella, in Lleida.
These routes are through the conreo del olivo area, through the dry stone constructions (pedra seca) and through different destinations that you have at your disposal:
We will leave the burricleta aside when we get hungry, because we include a picnic of local products. Filling your stomach with delicious Catalan food will make the second half of the journey more enjoyable.
Includes GPS and speakers. How about? Get to know the region of Les Garrigues with us pedaling a burricleta, you will see the land where we prepare the olive oil that you usually have on your table and you will get to know the beauty of the towns in this part of Lleida.
