Come to the Monte Holiday Multiadventure Park and get to know the Lozoya Valley from a very original point of view with one of these proposals:
- Hiking: We have several routes to follow on foot through the peaks of the valley, through the juniper forests of Lozoya, along the Lozoya River and through its charming mountain towns.
- Mountain bike routes: You can pedal along forest tracks and highly recommended royal ravines along the valley and up to Puerto de los Cotos.
- Cross-country skiing: In winter we take advantage of the snow on the Lozoya peaks from the port of Navafría to do this winter sport suitable for anyone even if they don't know how to ski.
- Zip line: Jump down an 85-meter zip line that we install on weekends with the possibility of climbing in our climbing wall.
- Horseback riding routes: The most natural rides on horseback that will take us to another time when these animals were the only means of transportation.
Summary Cross-Country Skiing
Enjoy Nordic skiing in Navafría at the foot of the Nevero and surrounded by pine forests and spectacular views of the entire Madrid mountain range. If you have never tried it, now you can learn with us on comfortable trips through the snow.
Cross-country skiing is another way to enjoy the snow in winter and the paths that run through the slopes and forests of Madrid's mountains are a great place to do sports and see great white landscapes.
No matter your level of experience, even if you are a complete beginner, our instructors will be in charge of adapting the tours to each client.
If you already feel advanced in cross-country skiing we will practice on the paths that the Puerto de Navafría offers us with its different routes in order to know the different slopes that we can face find, improve and also expand knowledge and experiences.
Summary Archery
Just 1 hour from Madrid capital we have a multi-adventure park among pine, juniper and oak forests that will delight anyone who wants to release adrenaline in the mountains.
You can make several trips on our zip line, well secured by a harness and hanging on a cable. You will cross the route at full speed.
In addition to the zip line, you can continue enjoying the adventure with a climbing wall to practice climbing and rappelling.
The only established condition for jumping down the zip line is not exceeding 90 kg in weight.
Summary Mountain Biking
We begin the tours at our campsite installed in the municipality of Gargantilla del Lozoya. The slopes are in some cases quite demanding, requiring you to be in good physical shape and in others much gentler, with a very pleasant pedaling.
We have preparedthe following itineraries through the Lozoya valley:
- Ascending route to the Puerto de los Cotos with passage through the Paular Monastery
- Route to the Pinilla reservoir through the route of the Medieval Bridges
- Route through the Sabinar del Lozoya passing through various towns in the valley
- Circular route through the towns of the Lozoya valley

Summary Canoe Kayak
TheSierra de Madrid brings together a good number of rivers in which it is possible to carry out various aquatic activities. At Monte Holiday we have prepared canoeing routes for the whole family. Our boats have 2 and 3 seats in which the children can go while the parents row, and you give them the opportunity to take the oar from time to time so that direct the course.
Our guided route is along the Lozoya River, leaving from the town of Gargantilla de Lozoya, we will go through the waters of the river to, first, learn how to handle the canoe (it is very easy, so don't be afraid if you have never caught one), and then take a tour of about 2 and a half hours through the flow of this tributary of the Jarama.
Canoeing is one of our alternatives for ecotourism, with which we seek to take care of the environment while showing you the unexpected, for many, natural landscape full of rocks, animals and vegetation of the mountains within the Community of Madrid. And only1 hour by car from the capital, so you can see that there are many nature plans close to home.
These excursions are suitable and recommended for children, who will get to know the Madrid environment in a different way.
