Company Overview
The Other Option we are an ecological reserve located in the town of Bastonal, municipality of Soteapan, Veracruz.
At La Otra Opción we offer youhiking excursions and horseback riding through our 136 hectares full of vegetation characteristic of the mountain forest and the jungle of Los Tuxtlas.
Our tours are conducted by an expert guide in the animal and plant species that inhabit the reserve, who will impart their knowledge to you and amaze you along the trails where you can find trees up to more than 40 meters high.
Likewise, we have an orchid garden that has more than 1,100 species of different orchids, a hummingbird garden with more than 20 hummingbirds, a bird watching tour and an arboretum where you can find 140 species. different from trees.
We also have 8 cabins with capacity for 2 or 3 people that are located next to a river, which allows you to have direct contact with nature. A recommended stay for the whole family.
