For people who want to ride Glencoe Mountain Resort’s downhill tracks, you can buy a day pass to use the chair lift as many times as you would like. If you would prefer to ride on a surfaced path, you can do this as well, with an 80 mile circuit.
For cross country riders, there are several different rides that you can go on, from easier routes to more difficult ones. As well as summer hiking, Glencoe Mountain Resort offers a course in winter walking skills during the winter season. Led by qualified instructors, you will learn how to use equipment that you might need during a winter walk, as well as what to do if you get lost. You will also learn how to best choose your routes and avoid avalanches, and how to create emergency shelters if needed.
