Summary Canoeing

Throughout the Cowal peninsula there are dozens of dazzling lochs that offer fresh and clean water and which are the perfect scenery for open or Canadian canoeing. Glide your way across Lock Eck, known for being a natural habitat of the powan species, a fish that dates back to the Ice Age.

Travelling on an open canoe is a relaxed and serene experience that will help you connect with nature. While paddling along a river or loch, you will have the unique chance to watch sea birds, otters, seals and other wild animals very closely. Birdwatchers will be delighted in this magnificent framework!

But if what you need is a challenging activity, canoeing will also suit you! Your body strength, endurance and mental power will definitely improve in our canoe journeys! Whether you enrol for half day or a full day excursion, canoeing with us will be an unforgettable experience!

In addition, we can go on a multi-day expedition for which we will need to carry our camping materials, food, and others to merge into the wilderness of Scotland. From introductory to advance canoeing sessions, we are happy to cover all level and abilities, offering the BCU 1 and 2 star awards.

Summary Kayaking

Kayaks were created by the Inuit people hundreds of years ago as a means of transportation. However, the materials used were different, as kayaks were made of whale bones, driftwood and seal skin mainly. Kayaks were used mainly for hunting and fishing thanks to the silent aerodynamics of the kayak’s design.

Nowadays, kayaks are only used for sport and leisure activities, and also to enjoy beautiful frameworks of nature, such as the Cowal peninsula and the magical Isle of Bute in Scotland, well-known for being sea kayaking destinations. The beauty of this area is like nowhere else!

This is where we lead our customers on our kayak journeys, accompanied by expert and qualified professionals. Our guided and bespoke tours take place around this amazing coastline, where we can camp into the wild, fish from the kayak, and make fires on the beach.

Our courses cover from novice training to expert and improvement sessions. In addition, we also offer rescue and safety courses so that you can feel confident to go on your own!

Discover a new way to paddle your way through life and explore new locations on a beautiful and eco-friendly craft!

Summary Mountain Biking

Would you like to ride your bike off-road through special terrains and rough paths? Join one of our challenging mountain biking tours and get ready for some fun! Ride your bike through unexplored areas and discover the world on two wheels!

Mountain bikes are human powered and eco-friendly vehicles on which practising exercise is not a dull and boring activity, but exciting and stimulating. Doing some mountain biking will test your endurance and performance because it is undertaken in irregular and uneven surfaces.

Along the hills and trails of the breath taking Cowal peninsula we will guide you towards Dunnon through wild forests and twisted trails, or lead you on single track routes to the lovely Glenbranter!

Whatever your ability at riding, your guide will accompany you along cycle paths providing you with safety and first aid kits. At the end of the day you will have dodged many steep slopes and avoidable obstacles!

Ride your bike to discover new places, to stay fit, to see some nature, to breathe some fresh air, to get out of the urban jungle, or for whatever reason you can think of, but come with us to enjoy this new perspective of life!

Summary Climbing

In outstanding natural locations near the magnificent Loch Eck and the historic Argyllshire, we offer you introductory climbing and abseiling lessons.

For those of you who would like to venture into the wild, there is much more than your eyes can meet! Lock Eck is an ideal place for wildlife and fauna, as curious red squirrels and powan, a fish from the Ice Age, dwell in this area. Connect again with nature and exhale it!

Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned veteran climbing, we have a suitable place for you!  Our courses are tailored for our customer depending on their skills and abilities. Tell us without hesitating what you have in mind and we will go out of our way to make your dreams come true!

All our coaches are qualified experts that will guide you and assist you whatever your needs. They are happy and prepared to teach you useful and effective techniques and tactics to improve your moves during climbing session. Climbing gear will be provided to our clients.

Climbing can be a rough sport for which you need muscle strength, good balance, endurance and mental concentration. Why not having a rest and drinking something afterwards? There is an award-winning inn near the climbing spot, we can have a good time there and talk about the wonderful day we have just spent in the mountains!
