GeoGata is a tourism and education initiative dedicated to the enjoyment and dissemination of the geology of the province of Almería, especially the Cabo de Gata - Níjar Natural Park.
We have activities for all ages and audiences in which you will feel like a real scientist.
Among our catalog of activities are:
- Home workshops: fun and Science and Education come to your home. With all the comforts, we organize workshops through which you can promote your child's scientific interests, and all at home.
- Education and activities for associations and schools.
- Ecotourism and Geotourism, 2 ways to get in touch with nature and have fun being a scientist for a day.

Summary Hiking
Visiting Cabo de Gata is a unique experience. Due to its climate, its geography, its surroundings, the Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a jewel of Spain. For this reason, from the company GeoGata Senderismo we organize a series of routes for people to enjoy. of this unique site.
You can come with your family, with your friends or with your company, since at Geogata Senderismo we organize activities for groups, so you can visit places like:
-Coral Reefs: Rocks that were Alive-. Together with expert guides you can tour the Almeria cliffs, and later, if you wish, you can finish your activity with a swim in Cala del Cuervo or Playazo.
- Tour the Hoyazo de Níjar: You will immerse yourself in the adventure of the Volcano, where you can visit the depths of this rock.
- On Amoladeras beach, you can take a trip back in time to see the faults and minerals in the area.
- One of the most spectacular routes is the Volcanic route through San José: You will tour the park with snorkel, through the Fuego valley.
- Another geological excursion is From Mónsul to Genoveses, where you can even experience a volcanic eruption.
- Walking route to learn about the history of mining, in a unique place: The mines of Rodalquilar

Summary 4x4 Tours
We have à la carte routes in which you will decide which route you want to take. Our 4x4 has a maximum capacity of 7 people, therefore you can take a very exciting excursion with your friends or family, walking through the areas you prefer to visit.
We also have some scheduled routes among which are:
- Wetlands and volcanoes in 4x4: a specialized scientist will guide you throughout the route and will comment on the creation of its geology and the evolution of the fauna and flora of this natural park.
- Mining and culture in 4x4: learning about the mining of our peninsula gives us a clearer vision of the evolution of Spain as far as the primary sector is concerned. We will see the gold mining of Rodalquilar and we will contemplate the landscapes of Almería that have served as the setting for some of the most famous Hollywood Western films.
Cinema, agriculture, mining, flora and fauna, all in the same trip led by an expert guide in these various subjects.
