Desafio Ocio

Desafío Ocio is a Galician company located in the heart of Pontevedra, inLalín, which organizes adventure activities throughout Galicia.

Adventure sports have more and more followers who not only seek strong emotions but also enjoy the environment around them and spend a pleasant day in nature outdoors.

In Leisure Challenge they have different adventure areas:

• Water: you can do rafting, hydrospeed, canoeing and canoe routes in the wildest and most impressive rivers in Galicia. You will descend the Ulla River while enjoying the landscape, you will travel through the Miño at full speed and cross the Deza River and all its currents. They also have initiation activities in pools and natural reservoirs for beginners

• Air: enjoy the Galician landscapes admiring them from above with paragliding and ultralight flights. Furthermore, if you are passionate about aviation, you can learn to pilot an ultralight plane and set your own course while you soar through its lands.

• Mountain: the mountains of Galicia are perfect for doing all kinds of activities in them, you can ride on the back of a fantastic horse. The hiking routes offered in Desafío are also a great attraction. You can climb the walls of the Galician mountains and jump down a fantastic zip line at a great height. For the most daring, they have also prepared canyoning, rappelling and bungee jumping from the highest bridges in the province of Pontevedra and Coruña.

• Multi-adventure: enjoy the mountains with your friends or family with orienteering races in which you will learn to love the mountains. Or if you want to get your adrenaline pumping with your friends, at Desafío they offer you paintball games on tracks with natural and artificial obstacles

All the material you need to carry out any of the activities will be lent to you by Desafío, make sure you wear comfortable clothes and are eager to have fun and experience unrepeatable emotions.

Touring the Costa da Morte at the controls of an ultralight aircraft is an unrepeatable experience that Desafío Ocio has prepared for you.

The flight while piloting the ultralight plane will last about 30 minutes in which you will rise from the Castriz runway reaching up to 70 kilometers per hour. For those who have never flown, we have prepared a complementary baptism that lasts around 15 minutes in which you will learn to handle the plane safely while enjoying the scenery.

You will fly over the Costa da Morte area but you choose the final route. You will be the pilot and in charge of designing the route, although before doing it you will have to show it to the instructors so that they can study if it can be done. You can't even imagine the richness that can be seen from this coastline when you reach hundreds of meters above the ground.

No experience is necessary nor do you need to bring special clothing to carry out this activity. Don't hesitate and contact us so we can inform you of all the details so you can enjoy the flight as soon as possible.

You will go with a professional pilot so the activity is completely safe. And, for the most daring, you will have the opportunity to pilot the plane yourself for half an hour. Always, of course, under the careful supervision of the pilot and following all his instructions.
